Embedding of compact almost complex manifolds in algebraic manifolds

Abstract.

We prove that a compact almost complex manifold (M,J) can be embedded in an algebraic manifold, transversally to an algebraic distribution. The almost complex structure is given by the distribution. This is a joint work with Jean-Pierre Demailly.
