Abstract.
Signature tensors are extensively studied for their importance not only in stochastics and non-commutative algebra, but also for their applications in financial mathematics, data analysis and machine learning. I will take yet another point of view and introduce the algebraic geometry perspective. I’ll survey on the development of this topic and present some recent results, hoping to contribute to the conversation between these apparently distant fields.
