Differential Geometry Seminar Torino
Abstract.
We discuss a Steklov problem for the magnetic Laplacian on surfaces with genus zero and two boundary components. We give a sharp upper bound for the first eigenvalue and discuss the geometry of maximizers. Source of inspiration is the Fraser-Schoen theory on the (non-magnetic) Steklov problem and minimal free boundary immersions. (Joint work with Luigi Provenzano)
