Abstract.
(joint work with Vezzosi) I will introduce the notion of "derived foliations", which is a general setting to study generalizations of foliations (Lie algebroids, singular foliations, differential ideals etc) based on techniques from derived algebraic geometry. I will explain in particular its relations with standard notions, such as Godbillon-Vey sequences. I will present two main applications of the general theory: a version of Bott vanishing theorem for foliations in positive characteristic, and an extension of Reeb stability theorem for possibly singular foliations.
