Abstract.
It is a classical problem to understand when two Kähler manifolds are relatives, i.e. when they share a Kähler submanifolds. For example, it is well-known since the work of M. Umehara that complex space forms with holomorphic sectional curvature of different sign are not related. The talk give an overview of the problem in the Kähler setting and introduce a weaker version of relatives which asks when two Kähler manifolds share a common CR submanifold.
