The Faculty of Science of the University of Zurich invites applications for an Assistant Professorship in Mathematical Physics (non-tenure track) at the Institute of Mathematics. The professorship will be embedded in the newly established National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR) “The Mathematics of Physics – Swiss MAP”. We seek an internationally recognized young researcher of the highest level in a field related to Mathematical Physics in a broad sense. The position is for 4+2 (based on a mid-term evaluation) years starting on 1 February 2015 or later. The new professor is expected to establish and lead a successful research group and contribute to graduate and undergraduate teaching in English or German.
