Dear Colleagues,
2 positions as a tenure-track assistant professor (Ricercatore Tenure Track - RTT) at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Milano will soon open, one in the area of Algebra (arithmetic geometry, number theory, homotopy theory, category theory, representation theory, …) and one in the area of Geometry (complex, differential, symplectic geometry, topology, …).

The positions come with a moderate teaching load (around 60 hours of lectures per year) and officially last for 6 years.
At the end, one goes through a tenure review: provided that the Italian Scientific Qualification (https://abilitazione.miur.it/public/index.php?lang=eng) has been obtained before the review, one should get a permanent position as an associate professor. Researchers with at least 3 years of post-doc experience can apply for an early evaluation to get tenured at the end of the third year of the contract.
