Applications are invited for a 4-year PhD fellowship at the "Algebra and Geometry" research group of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT) in Madrid. The position is funded by a “Proyecto Generación de Conocimiento 2022” grant titled “Mirror symmetry, vertex algebras, and canonical metrics” (PIs Mario Garcia-Fernandez and Emilio Franco Gomez). The successful candidate will be expected to work on research related to this project.
