I would like to advertise a five-year postdoc position in algebraic geometry with mild teaching duties at the University of Antwerp. The position is initially for three years and following a positive evaluation it can be renewed for another two years.
The department is looking for a young researcher in algebraic geometry (broadly interpreted) that has shown independence and can contribute with research and teaching at the department. The teaching load is on average between 3 and 4 hours per week. The candidate must hold a Ph.D. by the start of the appointment.
Working proficiency in English is necessary. Proficiency in Dutch is not required, but the department will support and encourage you to learn Dutch.
