Dear colleagues,
the Ph.D. Program in Mathematics of Universidad de Concepción (Concepción, Chile) opened its applications for the second semester 2023 (starting in August 2023). The research areas of the program are:
Analysis: Calculus of variations, Evolution equations, Functional Analysis, Integral equations, Optimization, PDE, Stochastic Analysis.
Algebra and Geometry: Algebraic combinatorics, Algebraic Geometry.
Logic and Number Theory: Infinite algebraic extensions of Q, Diophantine Geometry, Decidability problems of classical structures related to Number Theory, Set theory.
