The Mathematics Area of SISSA is seeking expressions of interest for tenure-track assistant, associate and full professor positions.
We seek outstanding candidates with research interests in any field of pure mathematics and applied mathematics, including mechanics. Researchers with interests in probability, in a broad sense, are particularly encouraged to apply.
The engagement of SISSA faculties consists in pursuing high level scientific research, supervising PhD students, and offering graduate courses. The working language of SISSA is English.
Substantial tax reduction on the salary may apply for six or more years, according to the Italian rules for appointments from abroad, if in possession of specific requirements.

To apply for associate and full professor positions in Italy, candidates must have obtained the Italian national habilitation (see http://abilitazione.miur.it/public/index.php for further information) or must already hold an equivalent academic position.
Selected applicants will be contacted to visit and give a seminar at SISSA starting from summer 2023.
