We are happy to announce that we are hiring an Associate Professor (full-time, tenured) in Geometry/Topology at the University of Oslo in Norway. The application deadline is April 21st, and the official announcement is at the link below

https://www.jobbnorge.no/en/available-jobs/job/202229/associate-professor-in-geometry-and-topology

from which I quote:

"The section seeks a dedicated and innovative researcher who meets the required qualifications for an associate professorship. We are in particular looking for active researchers working in geometry and topology (such as the fields of algebraic topology, geometric topology, K-theory, motivic homotopy theory, differential geometry, and symplectic geometry) and preference will be given to applicants in these fields"

and

"The Associate Professor will have the opportunity to apply for promotion to a position as [Full] Professor at a later date."

The current permanent faculty in the geometry/topology group are Kim Frøyshov, Paul Arne Østvær and myself. The Mathematics Department also has active research groups in algebraic geometry, operator algebras, several complex variables, partial differential equations and mathematical logic. We share research interests with many other departments in Scandinavia and elsewhere.
