The Department of Mathematics in the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany, invites applications for
2 scholarships for non-German doctoral candidates (€1,200 monthly stipend)
to start between 1st of May 2021 and 1st of October 2021.
Funds are provided by the DAAD for a period of three years. In addition to the scholarship, the funding line includes a fixed sum for travel expenses, health, accident and liability insurance as well as a contribution towards research expenses. The PhD programme in Mathematical Sciences focuses on high-level research in mathematics. It features intensive training and cutting-edge research projects in pure and applied mathematics, emphasising independent research on the part of the students.
The call is open for all fields represented at the Faculty of Mathematics. This includes Algebraic Topology.
