Starting from September 2015, one PhD scholarship is offered in Algebraic Geometry at the Mathematics Institute of the Aix-Marseille University.
Research will be done under the supervision of Laurent Manivel, in the Geometry and Topology group of the Institute.
Research directions: complex algebraic geometry, special varieties, classical and quantum cohomology, derived categories.

Application
Candidates must have special interest in Algebraic Geometry. A solid education in Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry is required.

- diplomas and grade transcripts showing completion of bachelor's and
master's degrees, or official confirmation that the master's thesis has been
submitted,
