Dear colleagues,
The Maths Institute of the University of Marburg is organizing a workshop on
"Prospects in Geometry and Global Analysis"
in the castle Rauischholzhausen from August 21 to 25, 2023.
The purpose of the Workshop is to learn about recent developments in Global Analysis, broadly considered as differential geometry from the analytic point of view, as well as review open problems in the field, and promote discussions about these topics. There will be 2 plenary talks on each day by leading experts in the field, complemented with 1 to 3 contributed talks by volunteering participants.
More specific topics to be covered include Index theory, Complex geometry, Symplectic geometry and topology, Geometric quantization, and all interactions between these areas.

For your travel plans please note that the nearest major train station is Marburg Central Station. We'll have a bus shuttle leaving from Marburg Central Station to Castle Rauischholzhausen on sunday afternoon, August 20, 2023 at around 4-5 pm. The return bus shuttle will be scheduled Friday, 25 August 2023, at approx. 4 pm, back to Marburg Central station.
